WHAT IS RECYCLING?

The definition of Recycle is a convert (waste) into reusable material. It is also a return (material) to previous stage in a cyclic process. Something you can  "use again". Recycling is processing used materials (waste) into new, useful products. This is done to reduce the use of raw materials that would have been used. Recycling also uses less energy and a great way of controlling air, water and land pollution. Effective recycling starts with household (or the place where the waste was created).

4 WAYS OF RECYCLING HERE @ EARHART

Our 4 ways of recycling here @ Earhart are:
1. Blue Bin  "Recycle almost everything"                   
- Cardboard
- Glass 
- All foam plastic paper
- Milk & juice cartons

2. Small Blue Bin "$$$ Money bottles & cans"
- Aluminuim bottles/cans
- Glass bottles/cans
- Plastic bottles/cans

 Green Bin "Dry out Damp Recycleables"
- Dry recycle  


3. Big Yellow Bin "Trash that can't be recycled"
- Trash
-Bonded Paper foil
- Non-compost garbage

4. Yellow Bucket " Compost"
- Fruit, Vegatable waste

WHY RECYCLE? WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment. Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in land fill sites. Recycling helps reduce the pollution caused by waste..Recycling is a "green light" to the world.. we will see "green" changes in our earth throughout the years if we all collaborate on making the change.
